Senior SAP Basis Administrator – DOD, Top Secret Clearance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee, monitor, and manage SAP landscapes to ensure high availability and optimal performance.

• Execute SAP installations, upgrades, patches, system copies, kernel upgrades, and refreshes.

• Handle SAP transports and system configurations across development, QA, and production environments.

• Diagnose and resolve SAP Basis-related issues promptly.

• Collaborate closely with infrastructure, security, network, and application teams to maintain system stability and compliance.

• Implement SAP performance tuning, monitoring, and capacity planning strategies.

• Assist in disaster recovery planning, along with backup and recovery processes.

• Maintain technical documentation and follow change management protocols.

• Ensure adherence to organizational security policies and industry best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of practical experience in SAP Basis Administration.

• Extensive experience in supporting complex SAP landscapes.

• Proven experience with SAP system installations, upgrades, migrations, and patch management.

• Proficient in SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA, and associated SAP technologies.

• Familiarity with Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.

• Understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, and system performance optimization techniques.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• **Preferred Qualifications**

• Active **Top Secret Clearance** is preferred.

• Experience with cloud-hosted SAP environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an advantage.

• SAP Basis certification is preferred.
