Senior Salesforce Quality Assurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement test plans, cases, and scripts for Salesforce applications (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, etc.)

• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the quality and stability of systems.

• Validate custom Salesforce configurations (such as flows, validation rules, workflows, Apex, and Lightning components) against business requirements.

• Collaborate with developers, administrators, product owners, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and guarantee comprehensive test coverage.

• Identify, document, and track defects and issues using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps, supporting their resolution through retesting.

• Perform API and integration testing between Salesforce and external systems.

• Develop and maintain test data and environments to facilitate repeatable and reliable testing.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies (including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives) and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

• Ensure data integrity and compliance with security standards across Salesforce environments.

• Assist in release validation and deployment activities, including smoke testing and post-deployment verification.

• Create and maintain test documentation and QA metrics, such as test results, defect trends, and coverage reports.

• Advocate for best practices in QA and test automation, utilizing tools like Selenium, Provar, or Copado.

• Lead the test strategy and QA planning for large-scale Salesforce implementations.

• Implement and sustain automated testing frameworks.

• Mentor junior QA team members and promote QA standards.

• Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate QA into CI/CD pipelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS degree or equivalent qualification.

• At least 3+ years of experience with Salesforce.

• Salesforce certification(s) (e.g., Admin, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and/or Community Cloud Consultant).

• Experience with all stages of the software development lifecycle, from discovery to release and ongoing maintenance.

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum).

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Over 3 years of experience in test script development and deployment using both manual and automated tools.
