Senior Salesforce Developer, CPQ/CRM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Execute Salesforce development across Sales Cloud and Revenue Cloud CPQ by utilizing a configuration-first strategy and resorting to custom coding only when the standard platform features are inadequate.

• Create scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions to support the Lead to Order process, encompassing quoting, approvals, pricing automation, data validation, and ERP handoff.

• Offer technical guidance to developers and administrators through design collaboration, code evaluations, troubleshooting, and best practices in Salesforce development.

• Assist in managing the Salesforce DevOps process, which includes source control, branching strategies, deployment discipline, environment promotion, and release governance.

• Collaborate closely with the CPQ/CRM delivery partner to assess technical outputs, comprehend implementation choices, and facilitate knowledge transfer from R1 to upcoming EXN-led releases.

• Aid in integration, testing, defect resolution, go-live, and hypercare efforts across Salesforce, Revenue Cloud CPQ, ERP, MDM/PIM, and Workflow Ingestion interfaces.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possesses over 5 years of Salesforce development experience, including hands-on work with Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce configuration.

• Demonstrates strong expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud and Salesforce CPQ or Revenue Cloud CPQ, with a solid understanding of the Lead to Order process, pricing, approvals, and subsequent ERP workflows.

• Has experience with Salesforce Flows, validation rules, approval processes, permission sets, declarative automation, data modeling, sharing model, and metadata dependencies.

• Familiar with integration patterns such as REST APIs, platform events, middleware, and asynchronous processing.

• Experienced with Azure DevOps or similar source control and CI/CD platforms, as well as Salesforce DevOps tools like Gearset, Copado, Salesforce DX, or equivalent.

• Quality-oriented, technically inquisitive, and collaborative, with the capability to mentor other developers, enhance engineering practices, and take responsibility for code quality, deployment safety, and long-term maintainability.
