This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Direct the development, configuration, and customization of functionalities within Sales Cloud and Service Cloud utilizing declarative tools, Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and SOQL.
• Construct and enhance key Service Cloud features, such as Case Management workflows, Service Console improvements, and CTI/Telephony integrations to boost agent efficiency.
• Design and execute automation solutions with Flow, Process Builder, and Apex triggers, ensuring adherence to governor limits and platform best practices.
• Conduct comprehensive code reviews and verify that Apex test coverage aligns with quality benchmarks across all development activities.
• Leverage Experience Builder and Lightning Web Runtime (LWR) or Aura templates to create and tailor branded, responsive self-service portals, partner websites, and public knowledge bases.
• Develop custom LWC components within Experience Cloud, ensuring optimal performance, accessibility, and mobile adaptability.
• Oversee guest user security protocols, sharing rules, and profile settings specific to Experience Cloud environments.
• Architect and implement solutions throughout the complete Salesforce Billing lifecycle, which includes invoice creation, payment processing, revenue recognition timelines, and financial closure procedures.
• Establish and manage the CPQ-to-Billing data flow, ensuring accuracy in the quote-to-cash process across product, pricing, and order entities.
• Own and sustain the Sage Intacct / ERP synchronization framework, developing and troubleshooting data flows between Salesforce Billing and the general ledger.
• Collaborate with Finance and Revenue Operations teams to accurately translate revenue recognition regulations and billing policies into platform configurations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Billing-related issues, including failed invoice operations, payment gateway malfunctions, and revenue schedule discrepancies.
• Design, implement, and maintain robust and scalable integrations between Salesforce and external systems utilizing REST and SOAP APIs.
• Develop and sustain MuleSoft integration flows connecting Salesforce to downstream systems, ensuring reliability, effective error handling, and data consistency.
• Create and manage DocuSign / Conga integrations for contract generation, e-signature processes, and document automation.
• Document and uphold comprehensive API documentation, error handling frameworks, and integration runbooks.
• Supervise code quality and architectural decisions, ensuring all solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable over time.
• Produce and maintain detailed technical documentation, including solution designs, data flow diagrams, object models, and deployment strategies.
• Participate actively in design evaluations, sprint planning, and backlog refinement sessions.
• Assist with sandbox management, deployment processes, and change set / metadata API deployments in collaboration with the broader team.
• Act as a subject matter expert and resource for junior developers and administrators on coding standards, development methodologies, and Salesforce platform best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive, actionable feedback to enhance team productivity.
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing through documentation, tech talks, and collaborative programming sessions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5+ years of relevant experience in Salesforce development and configuration.
• Demonstrated success in delivering projects across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Salesforce Billing, and complex integrations.
• Expert-level knowledge in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, SOQL, and SOSL.
• Strong proficiency in Salesforce declarative tools: Flow, Validation Rules, Custom Metadata, and Permission Sets.
• Practical experience with Salesforce Billing, including invoice processing, payment gateways, revenue recognition schedules, billing policies, and Sage Intacct synchronization.
• Experience Cloud development utilizing LWR or Aura, including custom components, guest user security, and site performance optimization.
• Integration development experience using REST/SOAP APIs, with a solid understanding of authentication methods (OAuth, Named Credentials) and error handling strategies.
• Familiarity with DocuSign, Conga, or PandaDocs for document generation and e-signature automation.
• Proficiency in source control (Git) and CI/CD deployment pipelines (Salto, Copado, or Jenkins).
• Strong understanding of Salesforce security models, sharing architectures, and governor limits.
• Preferred certifications: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, Salesforce Certified Experience Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant.
