Senior Salesforce Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of Salesforce development, including Apex, triggers, flows, data models, and integration layers.

• Transition the ownership of the Salesforce platform from our managed service provider to an in-house team.

• Create and sustain integrations between Salesforce, the billing platform, and provisioning systems.

• Design and implement a scalable Quote-to-Cash data model that accommodates all four selling motions.

• Simplify the billing system by consolidating pricing plan complexity, clarifying ownership of the system-of-record, and removing redundant logic.

• Act as the main technical delivery partner for the VP of Revenue Operations.

• Lead the knowledge transfer process from our managed service provider.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-8+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development and end-to-end delivery.

• Extensive expertise in Apex coding, including classes, triggers, batch jobs, and asynchronous patterns, complemented by strong skills in flow and process automation.

• Experience in integration design and development, with a solid understanding of REST/webhook integrations between Salesforce and external systems (billing platform, ERP, provisioning APIs).

• Direct experience with at least one commercial billing platform, such as Stripe, Recurly, Zuora, or a similar system.

• Practical experience in Quote-to-Cash within a SaaS environment, with exposure to quoting, subscription lifecycle management, usage-based billing, revenue recognition, or collections automation.

• Excellent stakeholder communication abilities to translate Revenue Operations requirements into a coherent data model.

• Ability to work independently as a senior contributor on a small team.

• Experience in contributing to team development as a senior resource, including involvement in hiring and mentoring activities.
