Senior Salesforce Architect, Enterprise Applications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Define and lead the design, governance, integration, and optimization of the Salesforce platform along with its connectivity to the broader GTM technology ecosystem.

• Act as the foremost technical authority for Salesforce solutions.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, Revenue Operations, Marketing, Technology, SDU, and external vendors to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

• Establish platform strategy and set architectural standards.

• Oversee implementations and program health across complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.

• Ensure that Salesforce and associated GTM systems are in alignment with organizational goals, maintaining system integrity, data quality, and compliance in operations.

• Manage end-to-end solution design for Salesforce implementations, enhancements, customizations, and integrations.

• Develop and maintain architecture diagrams, data models, technical specifications, and solution documentation.

• Review and approve technical designs, acting as the final escalation point for enterprise Salesforce architecture decisions.

• Provide technical leadership throughout planning, implementation, testing, deployment, and post-release stabilization phases.

• Design and supervise integrations between Salesforce and enterprise/GTM systems.

• Define governance for Salesforce data, master data management, and data quality controls.

• Establish governance processes, including release management, change control, and environment strategy/management.

• Ensure adherence to security standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

• Conduct architecture reviews and assessments of platform health.

• Advise Sales, Marketing, Operations, Technology, and Executive Leadership on Salesforce capabilities and potential roadmap opportunities.

• Facilitate workshops and requirements sessions with stakeholders.

• Mentor Salesforce Administrators, Developers, Business Analysts, Architects, and external consultants.

• Assist in vendor selection, recruiting, and resource planning.

• Foster open, solution-focused communication, teamwork, and shared objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

• Salesforce Certified Application Architect is preferred.

• Salesforce Certified System Architect is preferred.

• Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) is preferred.

• 10–12+ years of experience with Salesforce.

• 5+ years in a Salesforce Architect or Lead Architect position.

• Extensive expertise in Salesforce platform architecture, configuration, customization, and integration.

• Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and the Lightning Platform.

• Proven experience designing enterprise-scale integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, middleware platforms, and ETL tools.

• Process-oriented and detail-driven, committed to accurate documentation.

• Technological proficiency with the ability to learn, utilize, and navigate various external and internal systems.

• Must currently reside in the U.S.

• Willingness to travel, including up to 60% travel for client meetings and executive presentations.
