This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.
• Leverage your sales expertise with a leading company in medical technology and healthcare solutions.
• Conduct sales calls aimed at promoting and selling Medtronic CardioVascular Surgery Therapies to both current and competitive clients, guided by a strategic plan.
• Develop, execute, and diligently adhere to a quarterly strategic sales plan to meet sales targets and objectives.
• Create a comprehensive forecast that includes customer commitments as a benchmark for success.
• Identify, qualify, and secure new and existing customers in line with established sales strategies and key accounts.
• Enhance revenue potential by focusing on specific customers to generate sales leads and cultivate business opportunities for growth.
• Cultivate and sustain a deep understanding of CardioVascular Surgery Therapies products.
• Provide insights and information regarding competitive activities, market changes, distribution, and pricing.
• Identify and relay suggestions to other departments (e.g., R&D, Operations, and Marketing) for new products or modifications to existing products based on customer needs and requirements.
• Coordinate customer engagements during all assigned meetings.
• Train and inform customers on the safe and effective use of Medtronic products.
• Complete all administrative reporting accurately and promptly, adhering to the requested format (e.g., expense reports, account profiles and analysis, daily planners, weekly activity, competitive updates, and inventory logs).
• Manage time, assets, and resources efficiently; oversee territory budget in accordance with the strategic territory plan and the guidelines set forth by the Regional Manager.
• Maintain sufficient inventory (trunk stock) and assist in the reallocation and delivery of products.
• Stay informed on current industry trends and all Medtronic products.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 8+ years of experience*; OR Associate’s Degree AND 6+ years of experience*; OR Bachelor’s Degree AND 4+ years of experience*
• Relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences.
• Must have attained Senior Representative level in another Medtronic Field Business.
• Experience in selling to surgeons.
• Experience in selling within the Cardiac operating room.
• Proven track record in high-pressure sales environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Exceptional sales and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated capacity to effectively forecast outcomes.
• Ability to successfully plan and manage accounts.
• Capability to develop and implement a strategic plan effectively.
