This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +6 more states.
• Take ownership of project-level workstreams from start to finish, enabling the Enterprise Sales team to allocate more time in the field.
• Collaborate with Sales Operations leaders and Account Executives to enhance the intake and prioritization process for sales requests, minimizing friction in the pipeline.
• Identify challenges faced by Enterprise sellers and suggest practical solutions that enhance their daily effectiveness.
• Act as the primary source for project-level data and reporting by developing dashboards, analyses, and recommendations that guide decision-making.
• Work together with internal departments (e.g., Deal Desk, Finance, Legal, Sales Strategy, GTM Systems) to implement improvements that boost revenue and profitability for Enterprise customers.
• Establish project-level strategy and roadmap within function-wide workstreams and communicate progress, results, and next steps to Sales Ops leadership and sales stakeholders.
• Leverage AI to maximize your efficiency—automating routine tasks, accelerating analysis, and arriving at solutions more quickly.
• Develop KPIs in collaboration with your manager, monitor performance against them, and proactively identify risks.
• Advocate for, exemplify, and integrate Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we expand globally and open new offices.
• 4–6 years of experience in a Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or a similar analytical/operations role within a dynamic setting.
• Proven track record of managing project-level workstreams end-to-end with minimal oversight, including monitoring metrics post-launch and addressing subsequent challenges.
• Strong written communication skills tailored for diverse audiences, along with the ability to present analyses and recommendations live to senior leaders and address follow-up inquiries.
• Proficiency in Salesforce.com and a working understanding of the broader sales technology ecosystem.
• Experience with Lead-to-Cash systems and related business processes.
• Robust analytical skills and comfort in handling sales data—capable of serving as the primary source for project-level data and reporting.
• Ability to navigate differing perspectives among stakeholders and drive consensus on project decisions.
• Excellent critical thinking skills to comprehend sales policies and processes at the company, team, and sales representative level.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher; a focus in business, finance, economics, or engineering is preferred.
