This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to increase market presence within the UAV sector.
• Identify crucial target accounts across both commercial and defense markets.
• Leverage established relationships in defense, aerospace, and UAV sectors to create new opportunities and enhance Lyten’s market standing.
• Surpass quarterly and annual sales objectives by overseeing the full sales process, from lead generation and qualification to finalizing agreements with new clients.
• Cultivate enduring partnerships with UAV OEMs, defense contractors, and technology integrators to integrate Lyten batteries into next-generation systems.
• Acquire a thorough technical knowledge of Lyten's Li-S battery technology and effectively communicate its performance benefits (higher energy density, reduced weight, enhanced safety) to a technical audience.
• Collaborate closely with product development, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure client needs are fulfilled and to provide market insights for future innovations.
• Design and deliver persuasive technical proposals, demonstrations, and product presentations to prospective clients.
• Remain current on industry trends, market demands, and the competitive landscape to refine sales tactics and uncover new opportunities.
• Provide precise sales forecasts and consistently report on sales performance, revenue, and expenses to senior leadership.
• Represent Lyten at pertinent industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and generate new leads.
• Master's degree in engineering, technology, or a related discipline AND 7+ years of relevant experience in Sales, Business to Business, Military sales, or a similar field.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, or a related discipline AND 9+ years of relevant experience in Sales, Business to Business, Military sales.
• Extensive knowledge of the UAV market, its applications, and major players in both commercial and defense sectors.
• Demonstrated success in exceeding sales goals and increasing business revenue.
• Proven capability to sell intricate, high-value technology solutions and navigate both commercial and governmental procurement processes.
• Experience in selling advanced technology solutions, with a strong preference for candidates having direct experience in the battery, aerospace, or defense sectors.
• Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with experience using CRM software and sales analytics tools.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
