This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify, engage, and secure new business opportunities within the grid sector, actively overseeing the sales lifecycle from prospecting through to contract negotiation.
• Keep an accurate, clear, and current sales pipeline in Salesforce, ensuring thorough documentation of all sales activities and customer interactions.
• Regularly update and report on pipeline status, guaranteeing timely and precise revenue forecasting that aligns with the sales management cadence.
• Collaborate across departments with Production, Supply Chain, Application Engineering, and Finance to ensure seamless customer onboarding, order fulfillment, and revenue recognition.
• Offer technical consultation to customers, effectively communicating product capabilities, competitive advantages, and value propositions pertinent to grid infrastructure.
• Actively monitor market trends and competitor actions to identify opportunities and threats, contributing strategic insights for positioning and product development.
• Negotiate contracts and terms to a proficient level that ensures secure and mutually beneficial business relationships.
• Educational Background: A degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Industry Experience: A minimum of **10 years** of experience working with or for energy providers, integrators, or related organizations in the grid sector.
• Sales Experience: At least **5 years** of demonstrated experience in a customer-facing sales position, ideally selling complex technical solutions.
• Technical Expertise: A solid understanding of electrical grid infrastructure, power systems, energy storage solutions, and associated technologies.
• CRM Proficiency: Experience in pipeline management and sales forecasting.
• Communication Skills: Outstanding ability to convey complex technical ideas into clear, persuasive value propositions for both technical and commercial stakeholders.
• Languages: Proficient in spoken and written English; additional European languages are considered a plus.
• Personal Competencies: Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-oriented, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Travel: Willingness to travel frequently to meet customers, attend industry events, and engage in internal company meetings.
