This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Establish and cultivate relationships with customers through both phone interactions and face-to-face meetings to foster confidence and create mutually beneficial solutions.
• Actively identify and pursue additional sales opportunities while navigating through customer organizations.
• Efficiently manage your designated territory through both telephonic and in-person engagements.
• Employ suitable interpersonal techniques to instill trust and confidence among users and contacts.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of Thomson Reuters products, the legal field, and the legal publishing sector.
• Achieve monthly sales and renewal objectives through in-person customer visits and telephonic meetings.
• Showcase the functionality of Small Law products to customers.
• Gather and share insights regarding market intelligence and penetration within your territory.
• Collaborate with customers to address related issues, including collections and complaints.
• Timely and accurately complete weekly sales performance reports along with all Salesforce.com documentation.
• Participate in sales meetings and conventions as necessary.
• Five years of successful sales experience, encompassing both phone and field sales; experience in the legal industry is preferred.
• A four-year college degree or equivalent experience; a Juris Doctor (JD) is a plus.
• Experience in Software as a Service (SaaS) sales is advantageous.
• Familiarity with sales concepts, methods, and techniques.
• A driven self-starter with high energy and motivation.
• Outstanding communication and closing skills.
• Strong time management abilities.
• Capacity to maintain a realistically positive attitude in sales scenarios.
• Ability to operate from a home office and travel to client locations as necessary.
• High proficiency in internet research, periodical access, and internal prospecting.
• Competent database management skills.
