This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Collaborate with the Sales team to convey the comprehensive Datadog value proposition, vision, and strategy to clients.
• Manage technical interactions with customers during the trial phase, effectively communicating Datadog’s value based on their activities and assisting in resolving any identified issues or concerns to ensure a successful outcome.
• Successfully close intricate opportunities using advanced competitive insights, technical expertise, and established credibility.
• Present product and technical briefings to prospective clients.
• Keep precise notes and feedback in the CRM system regarding customer insights, both successes and challenges.
• Actively engage and communicate with customers and Datadog's business and technical teams about product feedback and the competitive landscape.
• A strong passion for educating customers on observability risks that significantly impact their business, along with the ability to create and implement an evaluation plan with a client.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. This role necessitates the ability to comprehend and convey both the business benefits (value proposition) and technical strengths of our offerings.
• Proficient in programming/scripting with any of the following languages: Java, Python, Ruby, Go, Node.js, PHP, and .NET, among others.
• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a Sales Engineering or DevOps Engineering position.
• Capable of sitting for up to 4 hours while traveling to and from client locations.
• Willing to travel via car, train, or air up to 45% of the time.
