This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify and pursue new business prospects, lead, and finalize agreements for Acquia DAM and PIM solutions.
• Utilize buyer intent and market intelligence to create targeted strategies that engage, nurture, and secure potential customers.
• Interact with senior-level marketing, commerce, and IT executives within targeted organizations.
• Foster positive relationships and ascertain needs at all levels of decision-making.
• Remain updated on competitor offerings and aim to identify their strengths and weaknesses.
• Transform market insights into actionable growth strategies to stimulate new business development.
• Employ a variety of target market messages and communication channels to engage, advocate for, and attract new potential customers.
• Illustrate the value of Acquia DAM and PIM solutions and share relatable narratives about our solutions in practice.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with revenue marketing teams to nurture the sales pipeline.
• Partner with Acquia channel associates and subject matter experts to generate qualified sales opportunities and secure new business.
• Influence client decisions and champion client needs to negotiate value-based solutions.
• Manage the entire software sales lifecycle to acquire new accounts in an individual contributor setting.
• Work closely with various functional teams, including Product Marketing, Sales, Account Management, and Implementation teams, to ensure seamless integration and effective ongoing account growth.
• Collaborate with multiple internal teams and foster an atmosphere of trust and open communication.
• Engage with our channel partners and various subject matter experts to create sales opportunities.
• 3-5+ years of experience as an Account Executive or in a similar new business sales role.
• Proven history of meeting and surpassing sales quotas.
• Strong sales/business development experience, ideally with SaaS PIM, PXM, DAM, DXP, or MarTech software providers.
• Documented success in managing new business deals from lead generation to closure.
• Experience and capability to thrive in a fast-paced technology environment.
• Solid understanding of the SaaS business model for solutions delivery.
• Confident presentation skills and an engaging 'stage presence' when addressing decision-makers.
• Experience in demonstrating software solutions and using storytelling techniques that resonate with software buyers.
• Excellent communication skills to convey a compelling value proposition across various organizational and functional levels.
• Experience in negotiating large strategic deals encompassing all phases of client development: prospecting, proposal development, negotiation, and ongoing relationship management.
