This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and implement account and capture strategies for designated DoD and Tier 1 defense accounts.

• Identify, evaluate, and develop a pipeline of strategic opportunities that align with CPI’s power electronics offerings.

• Lead comprehensive lifecycle capture initiatives—from initial customer engagement and requirements shaping to contract award and production ramp-up.

• Build and strengthen executive-level relationships with key stakeholders across defense prime contractors, integrators, and program offices.

• Influence specifications and promote design-in positioning for next-generation platforms, including radar, EW, communications, and power systems.

• Formulate and implement win strategies, encompassing pricing, competitive positioning, and proposal leadership in collaboration with engineering and operations.

• Provide precise pipeline visibility, revenue forecasts, and capture status updates to senior leadership.

• Navigate DoD acquisition processes, ensuring alignment of pursuits with program timelines, funding cycles, and procurement pathways.

• Assist in resolving critical customer escalations to safeguard and enhance account value.


⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen.

• Possess an active Secret clearance or the capability to obtain and maintain such clearance.

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated history of securing new business and finalizing complex, multi-million-dollar deals within the DoD and/or Tier 1 defense contractors.

• Proven success in capture management, account expansion, and pipeline development.

• Strong comprehension of DoD acquisition processes, including FAR/DFARS and program lifecycles.

• Experience in managing extended sales cycles and multi-year pursuits.

• Capability to influence senior stakeholders and decision-makers at both technical and executive levels.

• Openness and ability to travel up to 50% domestically.
