• Identify and articulate significant material risks
• Ensure alignment between disclosures and operational realities
• Quantify exposure whenever feasible
• Maintain comprehensive and defensible documentation
• Engage in risk identification processes
• Assess incident response history
• Evaluate the maturity of security measures
• Oversee monitoring of controls documentation
• Align risks with security and compliance controls
• Monitor and assess evidence retention practices
• Work during US Eastern-time (ET) business hours. With much of the team and company located in Europe, maximizing overlapping hours is essential. Meetings may commence as early as 9am ET on some days.
• Integrate risk into the engineering lifecycle
• Collaborate with Security and Platform Engineering teams
• Lead operational risk quantification initiatives
• Provide support with architectural fluency during diligence
• Take ownership of the enterprise risk framework
• Coordinate efforts with Legal, Finance, and Audit departments
• Develop a reporting structure suitable for board-level presentations
• A Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, risk management, or a relevant field.
• Prior experience in risk management, compliance, or analytical positions.
• Familiarity with software development concepts is highly beneficial.
• A professional certification, such as a Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP), is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.
