Senior Risk & Compliance Engineer – Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Construct automated signal ingestion pipelines that retrieve real-time data from security tools.

• Create probabilistic risk models that represent security exposure as probability distributions.

• Identify systemic bottlenecks throughout the attack surface.

• Develop dashboards and data-driven insights that enhance risk visibility for various stakeholders.

• Assist in risk quantification initiatives that convey security exposure in financial terms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in data engineering.

• Proven capability to write production-quality code in Python and SQL (PostgreSQL, Presto, or SparkSQL).

• More than 3 years of experience in building and deploying machine learning or probabilistic models (e.g., Bayesian models).

• Experience in creating data pipelines that process real-time or near-real-time data in various formats.

• Familiarity with data modeling for classification, normalization, and the development of risk or anomaly detection signals.

• Experience in developing metrics that guide security and business decisions.
