Senior Risk & Compliance Engineer – Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +18 more states.

📋 Description

• Create automated signal ingestion pipelines that acquire real-time data from security tools.

• Develop probabilistic risk models that represent security exposure as probability distributions.

• Identify systemic bottlenecks throughout the attack surface.

• Construct dashboards and data-driven insights that enhance risk visibility for security, engineering, and executive stakeholders.

• Assist in risk quantification initiatives that articulate security exposure in financial terms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in data engineering, with a proven ability to write production-quality code in Python and SQL (PostgreSQL, Presto, or SparkSQL).

• More than 3 years of experience in building and deploying machine learning or probabilistic models in a production setting.

• Experience in creating data pipelines that ingest real-time or near-real-time data in various formats, managing both stream and batch processing at scale.

• Proficiency in data modeling for classification, normalization, and the development of risk or anomaly detection signals.

• Experience in developing metrics that guide security and business decisions.

• Knowledge of security risk concepts, including threat intelligence enrichment pipelines, EPSS, or CISA KEV.
