Senior Revenue Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Ensure the precise and consistent implementation of the company’s ASC 606 policy through deal reviews and analyses for intricate contracts, including deal linkages and modifications.

• Complete all necessary month-end closing activities, encompassing revenue recognition, journal entries, and management reporting.

• Identify, assess, and execute process enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy in revenue recognition operations.

• Maintain and update internal documentation related to revenue policies, procedures, and controls.

• Conduct regular and special analyses to guarantee proper processing and reporting of contracts.

• Collaborate with external auditors to provide support during the annual audit.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA or BS degree in finance/accounting; CPA designation is preferred.

• Over 3 years of accounting experience in the SaaS/Technology sector and/or within a public accounting firm; experience in revenue is an advantage.

• A proactive individual with integrity, accountability, and excellent interpersonal abilities, who also excels as a team player, eager to identify opportunities to support the team.

• A forward-thinking candidate who follows ideas through from inception to completion by offering recommendations, developing solutions, and implementing them effectively.

• An effective communicator capable of simplifying complex topics, translating concepts across teams to foster alignment, and collaborating seamlessly to implement solutions that lead to shared success.

• Proficiency in Excel and Google Workplace.

• Experience with Netsuite or Salesforce is advantageous.

• Familiarity with analytics, automation, or AI tools (such as Claude, Alteryx, Domo) is a plus.
