This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Take ownership of marketing planning and execution for the retail sector, which includes developing campaign strategies, selecting channel mixes, and determining messaging schedules.
• Create, implement, and manage both ad hoc and lifecycle campaigns for retail businesses across email, SMS, and push notifications, while ensuring high quality, consistency, and accurate reporting.
• Collaborate across functions with teams in performance, product, creative, data, and regional departments to establish a prioritized lifecycle roadmap driven by data insights.
• Provide support to leadership and collaborate with peers to facilitate cross-team development, ensuring operational clarity and high creative standards throughout the execution process.
• Spearhead A/B testing and experimentation focused on content, targeting, and customer journeys, utilizing insights to enhance customer engagement on a continuous basis.
• Track and assess campaign performance, sharing findings and suggestions to enhance future creative, targeting, and structural approaches.
• Work together on content strategy and offer feedback that improves performance across diverse markets and audience segments.
• 7-10 years of experience in CRM, lifecycle, or product marketing, with a preference for CRM expertise.
• Over 3 years of experience in retail or have managed B2B or retail CRM marketing initiatives.
• Proficient in CRM technology: familiarity with APIs, understanding attributes, and the ability to read HTML code.
• Capacity to implement audience segmentation, behavioral targeting, and lifecycle strategies for product launches.
• Strong influencing skills across functions, with the ability to engage with leadership, teams, and peers to develop processes and methodologies for retail projects.
• Data-oriented with the ability to create performance narratives based on engagement metrics, conversion rates, and other relevant indicators.
• Detail-oriented communicator and project manager—capable of fostering clarity and alignment across various functions and timelines.
• Experience in translating product experiences into marketing messages and collaborating with copy/design teams to effectively realize those messages.
• Enthusiasm for leveraging CRM as a growth driver and a desire to contribute within a dynamic and impactful team.
• Proficient in Braze, Iterable, Zeta, or similar CRM platforms; familiarity with customer data platforms (CDPs) and data enrichment tools is advantageous.
