This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Manage various retained executive search projects across specialized sectors.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to create essential search documentation, including client briefs, role profiles, and candidate screeners.
• Perform comprehensive market mapping to identify target companies, competitor landscapes, and pertinent talent pools.
• Develop high-quality longlists by identifying and reaching out to senior-level candidates through research, networking, and direct outreach.
• Engage with and evaluate candidates through structured, competency-based interviews.
• Create strong shortlists that align with client needs, leadership competencies, and cultural fit.
• Generate high-quality candidate reports, search updates, and market insight documentation.
• Keep precise records within internal systems and ensure adherence to search processes.
• Oversee interview coordination and facilitate communication between candidates and clients.
• Assist with offer management to ensure a smooth, high-touch candidate experience.
• Collect and disseminate market intelligence to aid ongoing business development and sector expertise.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of search methodologies and delivery standards.
• Prior experience in executive search, retained recruitment, or senior-level talent delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to create longlists and shortlists for complex roles.
• Experience in conducting candidate assessments or competency-based interviews.
• Strong research and market mapping skills across specialized industries.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities, with the ability to engage credibly with senior stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple assignments simultaneously.
• High attention to detail, professionalism, and discretion.
• Commercial awareness along with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Familiarity with sectors such as industrials, engineering, life sciences, energy, or professional services is a plus.
