Senior Research Scientist

📋 Description

• Propel pioneering research that enhances Pindrop’s fundamental technologies in audio-visual deepfake detection, synthetic media identification, and real-time video processing.

• Create, implement, and assess innovative machine learning and computer vision algorithms specifically designed for video data and analytics.

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to transform intricate research prototypes and tools into efficient, production-ready systems across various platforms.

• Uphold rigorous standards for model reproducibility, file patents, and contribute to peer-reviewed publications for leading computer vision, machine learning, and speech conferences.

• Serve as a technical authority by performing code and research reviews, mentoring junior researchers, and leveraging empirical data to shape product strategy.

⛳️ Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative domain (or equivalent industry experience).

• Over 3 years of professional research experience in Deep Learning, with a particular emphasis on Computer Vision, image/video deepfake detection, facial recognition, or generative AI.

• Extensive technical knowledge in real-time video processing, video data acquisition, pipeline preparation, and model deployment in cloud or edge environments.

• Strong programming skills in Python, along with hands-on expertise in modern machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras.

• A demonstrated history of successful project completion and publication of peer-reviewed research or patents at esteemed scientific conferences.
