• In the position of Senior Research Scientist at Cohere Labs, you will lead a self-directed, impactful research agenda focused on cutting-edge topics in AI.

• You will have the autonomy to pose challenging questions, delve into uncharted territories, and openly publish your research outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a PhD (or equivalent research experience) with a proven history of publications in ML, AI, statistics, or related disciplines.

• Demonstrate expertise or a strong interest in areas such as: efficiency, optimization, reasoning, multimodality, agentic systems, and human–AI collaboration.

• Have a solid foundation in machine learning and NLP, with experience in conceptualizing and conducting original research.

• Enjoy working collaboratively across various disciplines and locations.

• Exhibit a commitment to mentoring and nurturing the next generation of researchers.
