Senior Requirements Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Convert high-level initiatives and requirements from Product Management into detailed, actionable technical specifications and clear acceptance criteria.

• Enhance and organize the product backlog in close collaboration with the Product Manager.

• Facilitate Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) by creating high-quality scenarios (e.g., using Gherkin syntax) directly from the requirements.

• Manage the "glossary" and domain terminology, organizing the internal knowledge repository (Confluence).

• Collect feedback from Product Managers, Designers, Developers, and QA, transforming it into clarified business logic.

• Supply Developers and QA with defined logic and edge cases, returning refined requirements to the Product Manager for evaluation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of professional experience in Requirements Engineering, IT Business Analysis, or a similar cross-functional role (preferably in a SaaS, insurance, or finance setting).

• Strong understanding of agile methodologies.

• Hands-on experience in creating test cases (e.g., BDD / Gherkin).

• Exceptional analytical abilities to understand complex business needs and translate them into a format that Developers and QA can work with immediately.

• A keen interest in structure, documentation ("Detail and Clarity"), and identifying edge cases before they hinder development.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English, along with proficiency in German (B2).

• Expertise in Transformative AI, leveraging it to enhance work processes.
