📋 Description

• Oversee a portfolio of high-value, strategic accounts within the life sciences sector, encompassing pharmaceutical, biotech, and healthcare organizations. Emphasize the development of long-lasting partnerships grounded in trust and value.

• Work closely with clients to comprehend their specific business challenges, regulatory requirements, and strategic ambitions. Utilize this understanding to suggest solutions that cater to both immediate and long-range goals.

• Draw upon a comprehensive knowledge of life science products, services, and industry trends to offer consultative support to clients. Create tailored solutions that fulfill clients' technical, operational, and regulatory demands.

• Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at various levels within client organizations. Serve as a trusted advisor, providing strategic insights to assist clients in reaching their business objectives.

• Actively seek out and pursue new opportunities to enhance relationships with existing key accounts. Drive revenue growth through upselling, cross-selling, and promoting the adoption of new products or services.

• Achieve or surpass annual sales objectives for assigned accounts, including revenue growth and profitability targets. Manage the complete sales cycle, from initial engagement to closing and post-sale support.

• Lead negotiations for long-term contracts, renewals, and pricing agreements with strategic accounts. Ensure that terms are aligned with company objectives and that both parties gain from the arrangement.

• Provide precise and timely sales forecasts, monitor progress towards goals, and identify potential risks. Regularly update senior leadership on account health, sales performance, and key milestones.

• Maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction by delivering outstanding service and promptly addressing client concerns. Monitor account health and take proactive measures to resolve potential issues that could impact retention.

• Tackle and resolve intricate client issues or challenges by collaborating with internal teams such as customer support, technical services, and product management to develop effective solutions.

• Assess the success of solutions implemented with clients, evaluating impact and making adjustments as necessary to ensure ongoing client satisfaction and product success.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, Marketing, or a related area.

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in account management, sales, or business development within the life sciences, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or healthcare sectors.

• Strong capability to apply a consultative sales approach, recognizing client needs and offering customized solutions that deliver business value.

• Demonstrated success in establishing and maintaining long-term relationships with senior executives and decision-makers in large, complex organizations.

• Proficiency in negotiating intricate contracts, pricing, and service agreements, ensuring mutually advantageous outcomes.

• Ability to tackle complex client challenges, think strategically, and provide innovative solutions that enhance customer satisfaction.

• Skill in collaborating effectively with multiple internal teams, including product management, customer success, marketing, and regulatory compliance, to fulfill client needs and achieve company objectives.

• Competence in leading, mentoring, and inspiring junior team members, contributing to their professional growth and the overall success of the sales team.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and persuasively to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple high-priority accounts and initiatives simultaneously.

• Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) for tracking opportunities, managing accounts, and reporting on progress.
