This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Empower leaders, support employees, and activate HR initiatives.
• Execute operational HR responsibilities for a designated site, region, or country.
• Provide guidance to People Leaders and employees on local HR matters.
• Offer coaching and assistance on employee relations, compliance, workforce planning, and change initiatives.
• Cultivate a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
• Strengthen a positive culture by integrating GEV values into local HR initiatives.
• Represent the employee perspective by sharing insights and workforce data with HRBPs and Leaders.
• Serve as the local HR expert for People Leaders, HRBPs, and COEs.
• Proactively address employee relations challenges.
• Lead local HR projects and change initiatives.
• Provide leadership to multiple HR Partners.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• At least 5 years of experience in a Human Resources role with responsibilities including recruiting, training, compensation, benefits, employee development, or performance management.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities; capacity to make independent decisions and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• In-depth knowledge of local labor laws and governmental regulations, with proven experience in applying HR policies.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Exercises sound judgment to ensure integrity, compliance, and confidentiality.
• Strong enthusiasm for innovative HR solutions and process enhancements.
