This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee a portfolio of extensive and intricate commercial receivable accounts.
• Create and implement strategic recovery plans aimed at optimizing collection outcomes and enhancing client satisfaction.
• Engage with business decision-makers through phone calls, emails, and written communication to negotiate payment solutions.
• Examine contracts, invoices, purchase orders, statements, payment history, and relevant account records.
• Assess account status, payment patterns, disputes, and financial data to formulate recovery strategies.
• Negotiate full payments, settlements, structured payment plans, and other resolutions.
• Foster constructive relationships with debtors while maintaining a firm and professional demeanor.
• Work in collaboration with clients, Client Support Representatives, sales teams, and management to address disputes and eliminate payment obstacles.
• Identify accounts that need escalation and recommend legal action, legal placement, or closure.
• Achieve or surpass monthly goals for recovery, fee generation, productivity, and quality.
• Over 10 years of experience in commercial B2B collections within a third-party collection agency setting.
• Proven track record of recovering high-value commercial receivables.
• Exceptional negotiation, persuasion, and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Competence in managing complex account disputes and balancing competing stakeholder interests.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong business insight and comprehension of commercial credit and collections practices.
• Remarkable attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Preferred experience in collecting balances over $25,000, $50,000, and $100,000+.
• Preferred experience with Salesforce.
• Preferred experience in reviewing financial statements and business credit reports.
• Preferred experience working with attorneys, bankruptcies, and commercial litigation referrals.
• Must reside and work within the United States.
