Senior React Native, React Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Ownership of frontend and mobile at a lead level

• Delivery with an AI-first approach

• Responsible for architecture decisions

• Design and manage the architecture for frontend and mobile applications utilizing React, React Native, and Next.js

• Make independent architecture decisions emphasizing scalability, maintainability, performance, and reliability

• Develop production-quality applications using TypeScript in both web and mobile contexts

• Collaborate with GraphQL APIs and establish clean integration patterns across frontend, mobile, and API layers

• Define engineering patterns that are scalable across React, React Native, Next.js, TypeScript, and GraphQL

• Maintain application quality standards regarding architecture, code structure, testing, responsiveness, and developer experience

• Set the technical direction beyond just implementation specifics

• Establish and uphold quality standards for both AI-generated and manually crafted code

• Utilize AI-first and agentic development approaches with tools like Cursor and Claude to enhance delivery without sacrificing engineering quality

• Convert ambiguous product requirements into clear technical solutions

• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications on both web and mobile platforms

• Work closely with clients to facilitate smooth communication and a strong grasp of requirements

• Contribute to system design, performance strategy, testing strategy, and engineering productivity

• Apply a fundamental understanding of native mobile development concepts in Kotlin/Java and Objective-C/Swift while dealing with React Native integrations, debugging, or platform-specific needs

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in React, React Native, Next.js, and TypeScript

• Extensive experience with GraphQL APIs

• Significant experience in AI/ML or agentic development using tools such as Cursor, Claude, or similar

• Basic knowledge of native mobile development concepts in Kotlin/Java and Objective-C/Swift

• Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and maintaining production-level web and mobile applications

• Strong insight into performance, responsiveness, maintainability, and overall software quality

• Proven capability to make independent architecture decisions and direct technical strategy

• Excellent communication skills with clients and stakeholders

• Full-time availability in a remote work setting

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

• At least 5 years of hands-on development experience

• Exceptional proficiency in English communication, both written and verbal

• Ability to pass a background check with favorable references
