Senior React Native AI-First Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Lead-level ownership of mobile projects

• Delivery focused on AI-first methodologies

• Make architectural decisions

• Design and manage mobile application architecture using React Native, from foundational elements to production-ready solutions

• Independently make architecture decisions prioritizing scalability, maintainability, performance, and reliability

• Develop and sustain backend services in Node.js that enhance mobile product capabilities

• Design and interact with SQL databases, particularly Postgres, emphasizing data modeling, performance, and maintainability

• Establish scalable engineering patterns across mobile, backend, and API integration layers

• Uphold application quality standards pertaining to architecture, code organization, testing, responsiveness, and developer experience

• Define the technical direction, rather than just focusing on implementation details

• Set and maintain quality standards for both AI-generated and manually crafted code

• Convert ambiguous product requirements into well-defined technical solutions

• Guarantee the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications

• Work directly with clients to ensure effective communication and a solid grasp of requirements

• Contribute to system design, performance strategies, testing strategies, and overall engineering productivity

• Function within an AI-first workflow while upholding engineering standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in React Native, Node.js, and SQL databases, especially Postgres

• Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and maintaining production-level applications

• In-depth understanding of performance, responsiveness, maintainability, and overall software quality

• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders

• Availability for full-time work in a remote setup

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience

• At least 5 years of practical development experience

• Outstanding English communication skills, both written and spoken

• Capable of passing a background check with favorable references.
