Senior Quality Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Automated test coverage: Develop and expand our end-to-end and integration test suite utilizing Cypress. Establish the strategy, prioritize coverage gaps, and enhance overall quality across the platform.

• Bug process: Manage the entire lifecycle from triage through to production resolution. Maintain momentum, keep stakeholders updated, and ensure that no issues are overlooked.

• Cross-functional quality partnership: Work alongside PMs, Designers, and the Data team to assess requirements, identify risks early on, and clarify what constitutes "done."

• Process improvement: Detect weaknesses in our software delivery methods and suggest actionable solutions.

• Exploratory testing: Evaluate new features and existing workflows on both web and mobile platforms across various devices, catching what automation might miss.

• AI-native. You leverage AI tools such as Claude Code to write, maintain, and enhance test scripts as a standard practice in your workflow.

• Automation-first. Your initial response to identifying an issue is to determine how to prevent it automatically. You create test infrastructure that remains effective beyond individual test cases.

• Customer-obsessed. You approach testing from the user's perspective. While testing a flow, you consider whether it truly serves a real customer, not just if it aligns with the specifications.

• Adaptable. You remain flexible and do not become attached to a specific tool, stack, or process.

• Collaborative and direct. You engage with teams across Product, Design, Engineering, and Operations.

• Technically solid. You are proficient in reading and writing code. You possess a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end web services, allowing you to test them effectively, write meaningful SQL queries, and troubleshoot issues across the stack.
