This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of Destify’s quality strategy, test automation methods, and release validation processes.
• Develop and sustain automated UI, API, smoke, regression, and integration coverage for our web applications and platform workflows — utilizing AI-driven QA tools to create tests, identify coverage gaps, and ensure the suite remains reliable as we grow.
• Validate the workflows relied upon by our customers and internal teams — including search, booking, guest management, group travel, HubSpot processes, APIs, and internal tools — focusing on data accuracy, authentication, error handling, and integration dependability.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to ensure that requirements and acceptance criteria are testable prior to development initiation, and convert Jira stories into automated and semi-automated validation pathways.
• Shift quality assurance upstream rather than depending solely on late-stage manual inspections.
• Identify, replicate, and document defects in Jira with detailed steps, impacts, and evidence — supported by reproduction scripts and failing tests — while keeping QA standards, regression coverage, and release checklists up to date in Confluence.
• Assist in release readiness through staging validations, production smoke tests, UAT support, and post-release monitoring.
• Over 5 years of experience in QA, Test Automation, or Quality Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in building or maintaining automated tests.
• Proficient in testing modern web applications, APIs, integrations, and business workflows.
• Has either established or significantly advanced a QA/automation practice — including testing standards, coverage strategies, and tools — rather than merely functioning within a pre-existing framework.
• Familiar with tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Postman, or similar.
• Experienced with Jira and Confluence in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Knowledgeable in creating regression, smoke, integration, and acceptance test coverage.
• Strong capability to convert requirements and acceptance criteria into precise test plans and automated validations.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted QA tools, test generation, self-healing tests, or low-code/no-code automation platforms.
• Ability to troubleshoot failed tests, isolate defects, identify flaky tests, and enhance test reliability.
• Solid understanding of release readiness, defect lifecycle management, regression risk, and test coverage.
• Self-motivated — capable of setting the quality agenda and driving it independently — while communicating effectively with Product, Design, and Engineering.
• Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.
• Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
• Flexible working hours and remote work options.
• Continuous learning and professional development opportunities.
• A supportive and collaborative team environment.
