
Senior Quality Assurance Engineer – Mobile Applications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish and lead a comprehensive mobile testing strategy from start to finish, encompassing test data management, coverage assessment, defect trend analysis, and root cause identification.
• Develop, sustain, and expand automation frameworks for both iOS and Android platforms, utilizing tools like Appium, Espresso, and XCUITest.
• Incorporate testing suites into CI/CD workflows to ensure prompt and dependable feedback.
• Execute mobile application tests on actual devices through cloud laboratories (such as BrowserStack) to assess battery consumption, network performance (3G/4G/5G), and memory leaks.
• Conduct backend API tests to verify data consistency between the mobile interface and server systems.
• Engage in exploratory and manual testing to discover edge cases and address areas that automated testing may not cover.
• Guide junior QA engineers, enhancing the overall quality standards within the team.
• Over 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a minimum of 4 years focused specifically on mobile testing (iOS and Android).
• Expertise in programming languages including Java, Python, JavaScript, or Kotlin.
• Demonstrated success in constructing automation frameworks rather than merely writing scripts.
• Practical experience with testing tools such as Appium, Espresso, or XCUITest.
• Excellent debugging abilities using tools like Charles Proxy and logs from Xcode/Android Studio.
• Familiarity with BrowserStack or equivalent device testing labs.
• Proficient in API testing tools like Postman.
• Knowledge of project management tools such as Jira, GitHub, or Azure DevOps.
