Senior Quality Assurance Engineer – Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain automated testing frameworks and tools.

• Serve as a liaison between development teams and QA.

• Prioritize preventive quality measures and incorporate testing into CI/CD processes.

• Write efficient and high-quality client-side code.

• Engage in planning and estimation activities.

• Improve and broaden automation frameworks and methodologies.

• Oversee the design and development of automated test cases.

• Work collaboratively with engineers, designers, and managers to ensure client success.

• Take part in agile software development practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5+ years of experience/expertise in the following areas: Angular, Java, AWS services, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Skilled in all aspects of the development process.

• Expected to assess and provide recommendations based on complex Proof of Concepts.

• Lead the design and execution of a scalable automation framework utilizing Java and Angular.

• Experienced in API automation and familiar with automation frameworks such as Playwright and Cypress.

• In-depth understanding of databases and SQL.

• Proficient in using defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Ensure code integrity and maintain organization.

• Highly self-motivated and attentive to detail.
