Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks for both API and UI components.

• Work alongside QA and development teams to establish and execute testing solutions.

• Incorporate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.

• Engage in load, stress, and endurance testing to verify system performance and scalability.

• Detect performance bottlenecks and collaborate with engineering teams on solutions.

• Examine test failures, conduct root cause analysis, and produce actionable defect reports.

• Ensure software meets requirements and quality standards.

• Conduct manual testing when automation is not feasible.

• Advocate for consistent testing methodologies across distributed development teams.

• Suggest enhancements to automation, testing procedures, and quality practices.

• Mentor team members on automation development, design patterns, testing strategies, and industry best practices.

• Provide technical guidance in creating maintainable, scalable, and reusable testing frameworks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in an Agile, highly collaborative, team-oriented environment.

• More than 5 years of experience in developing test automation solutions for API and UI.

• Practical experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, and Playwright.

• Experience in contributing to load and performance testing initiatives using tools like JMeter, k6, or Gatling.

• Strong grasp of object-oriented programming and design principles.

• Proficient in C#, Java, or JavaScript.

• Solid understanding of web and browser technologies.

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in a technical field, such as Computer Science or Software Engineering.

• Bonus: Over 5 years of experience in mobile application testing, including both manual and automated methods.

• Bonus: In-depth understanding of iOS and Android technologies.

• Bonus: Proficiency with Selendroid and Appium.
