Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Ensure that software products and systems operate in accordance with business requirements and design specifications.

• Create and implement exploratory, manual, and automated testing protocols.

• Determine suitable test scenario coverage and the ratios of manual to automated testing.

• Utilize enterprise methodologies and standards for version control, documentation, continuous integration, continuous deployment, automation, policy adherence, and team collaboration.

• Draft validation criteria and develop test scripts.

• Execute test scripts while making independent assessments.

• Offer guidance, support, and mentorship to colleagues.

• Keep abreast of new testing technologies and capabilities.

• Maintain an in-depth understanding of Premier products and the healthcare business landscape.

• Adjust to changes in project scope, timeline, and tasks.

• Travel may be required 1–20% within the US.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.

• A bachelor's degree is mandatory.

• Expertise in SQL, including both single-table and multi-table joins.

• Familiarity with relational and dimensional database concepts.

• Experience using database query tools.

• Proficiency in test automation development utilizing AI, Java, Selenium, Cucumber, or similar technologies.

• Programming capabilities in one or more scripting or object-oriented languages, such as Python, Java, C#, or C++.

• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Ability to swiftly adapt to changes in project scope, timelines, and responsibilities with minimal guidance.

• Capability to provide support, guidance, and mentorship to team members.

• Self-driven to learn and keep up with emerging testing technologies.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Premier products and the business domain.

• Proficient in writing validation criteria and test scripts.

• Capacity to meet deadlines and quickly shift priorities.

• High attention to detail.

• Competence in operating computer programs and software.

• Effective communication skills, both in person and electronically.

• Ability to make independent decisions.

• Capability to collaborate effectively in close quarters with colleagues and manage interruptions.

• Ability to remain stationary for extended periods.

• Capacity to perform sedentary tasks, occasionally exerting up to 10 pounds.

• Willingness to travel 1–20% within the US.
