This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.
• Design, develop, maintain, and continuously enhance test cases for various projects and product domains.
• Utilize AI-driven tools to generate, review, optimize, and uphold test cases and test scenarios.
• Conduct various types of black-box testing, such as functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and non-functional testing.
• Execute API testing and aid in API test automation for both internal and external services.
• Monitor, track, analyze, and report any defects discovered during test execution.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to comprehend requirements and establish suitable test coverage.
• Keep abreast of development changes and conduct relevant testing as necessary.
• Automate test cases using a range of tools, frameworks, and programming/scripting languages.
• Leverage AI tools, coding agents, and MCP-enabled workflows to enhance QA productivity, which includes test generation, automation support, defect analysis, documentation, and integrations.
• Contribute to the testing strategy for cloud-native systems, microservices, integrations, and distributed architectures.
• Document and ensure the quality of software applications across all architectural layers.
• Support the ongoing enhancement of QA processes, tools, standards, and best practices.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• At least 3 years of experience in automated testing — developer profiles are encouraged to apply!
• Proficiency in Ruby, Rails, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or other programming languages relevant for test automation.
• Extensive experience with test case design, execution, defect reporting, regression testing, and release validation.
• Strong practical experience with test automation tools and frameworks, such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
• Experience in API testing and API automation utilizing tools or frameworks like Postman, REST Assured, Playwright API testing, or similar.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile delivery practices, CI/CD processes, and contemporary software engineering workflows.
• In-depth knowledge of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, browser behavior, HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, and related protocols.
• Strong familiarity with AWS, including hands-on experience with cloud-native systems and sophisticated microservices testing.
• Practical experience employing AI tools in QA activities, encompassing AI-assisted test case creation, test automation, test data generation, defect investigation, documentation, and coding-agent-assisted workflows.
• Experience with MCP-enabled tools and integrations, such as Playwright MCP, Atlassian MCP, or similar AI-augmented development and QA workflows.
• Capability to understand intricate systems, identify risk areas, and devise effective testing strategies.
• Highly proficient in both spoken and written English.
