Senior Quality Assurance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Acts as a vital quality partner within Fortress Affinity Management.

• Tasked with enhancing release confidence and minimizing production risks.

• Design and implement testing strategies that verify application behavior against set requirements.

• Identify, document, and monitor defects throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Collaborate with development teams to expedite issue resolution.

• Assist in making go/no-go readiness decisions prior to production launches.

• Develop and uphold test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

• Primarily conduct manual testing while supporting the growth and upkeep of automated test suites.

• Confirm release readiness and convey go/no-go evaluations to stakeholders.

• Maintain test documentation and quality artifacts, while reporting test outcomes, defect patterns, and quality metrics.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of QA processes, standards, methodologies, and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, software testing, or a similar technical role is required.

• Proven experience in testing web-based, enterprise, or internally developed business applications across various release cycles.

• Preferred experience in testing internally developed business applications within a Microsoft-centric development environment.

• Experience in an agile or scrum development setting is preferred.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field such as Business, Mathematics, or Engineering is preferred; equivalent combinations of education and work experience will be considered.

• ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) or an equivalent QA certification is preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Experience with Azure DevOps is preferred for defect tracking, backlog support, test case management, and sprint and release workflows.

• Preferred experience in testing REST APIs and system integrations using tools like Postman or SoapUI.

• Familiarity with SQL for data validation, back-end testing, and troubleshooting in SQL Server-backed systems is preferred.

• Experience with version control systems such as Git is preferred.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development and testing tools is preferred.
