This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the development and execution of enterprise-level QA/QC strategies, inspection protocols, and testing plans for electrical and mechanical systems.
• Supervise root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action initiatives for systemic challenges.
• Manage global supplier quality audits and qualification programs.
• Oversee commissioning and validation processes for large-scale installations, ensuring adherence to NEC, ASME, AWS, ASTM, IEC, IEEE, and ISO standards.
• Act as the primary quality liaison for executive stakeholders and clients, offering technical guidance and reporting.
• Propel continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Create and sustain advanced QA documentation systems, including digital NCR tracking and analytics dashboards.
• Mentor and train QA/QC engineers and technicians, cultivating a culture of quality excellence.
• Represent the organization during regulatory and certification audits.
• A minimum of 8 years of quality assurance or field engineering experience in industrial or manufacturing settings.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with team members, supervisors, and clients.
• Proven experience with ISO 9001, NFPA 70E, NEC, ASME, ASTM, and related quality standards.
• Practical experience in field commissioning, inspection, and testing of both mechanical and electrical systems.
• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Preferred: ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).
• Preferred: NFPA CESCP, ASME GDTP, or NETA Level II Certification.
• Completion of OSHA 30-Hour (General Industry or Electrical Safety).
• Strong grasp of quality engineering tools: FMEA, SPC, PPAP, control plans.
• Highly experienced in mechanical systems, with an emphasis on cooling and design.
• Proficiency in using mechanical measurement tools (CMM, calipers, gauges, micrometers).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on accuracy and safety.
