Senior QA Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive automated test suites to ensure the quality and reliability of SaaS products.

• Work collaboratively with the development team to comprehend requirements and provide insights on testability, emphasizing automation opportunities.

• Create and implement automated and manual test cases, test plans, and testing strategies to guarantee thorough test coverage.

• Perform detailed manual testing of our SaaS product to identify and document bugs, usability concerns, and other quality issues.

• Manage the SDLC, encompassing requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance phases, with a focus on automated testing workflows.

• Effectively communicate with stakeholders to offer updates on testing progress, challenges, and resolutions related to both automated and manual QA efforts.

• Provide mentorship to junior QA team members, guiding them on automation best practices, methodologies, and tools, while also supporting manual testing as required.

• Coordinate every release to ensure product stability, aligning automated test execution with development, product management, and other stakeholders.

• Actively implement best practices in automation testing methodologies, processes, and tools to enhance overall QA efficiency and effectiveness, while applying manual testing as needed for complex scenarios.

• Maintain current automated tests and develop new ones to boost test coverage and efficiency, along with executing manual tests for unique situations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a QA agile role or related professional experience.

• Strong grasp of software development methodologies and SDLC processes.

• Proficient in Cypress & TypeScript.

• Familiarity with automation testing for UI/API/Load and Performance.

• Skilled in creating test cases, test plans, and test strategies.

• Experience with bug tracking systems like Azure DevOps.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities in both English and Dutch.

• Capability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
