Senior QA Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Ensure comprehensive system functionality across mobile applications, web portals, and backend APIs.

• Validate the effectiveness of real-time communication features, focusing on call quality, stability, and performance.

• Design and implement test scenarios addressing network instability, packet loss, and reconnection processes.

• Conduct functional testing for authentication mechanisms, role-based access, dashboards, and API layers.

• Identify, document, and monitor edge cases that impact user experience and system reliability.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to recreate, isolate, and resolve defects effectively.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of QA processes and test coverage.

• Assist with regression testing for software releases and hotfix deployments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, ideally within real-time systems, VoIP, or communication platforms.

• Extensive experience in testing mobile (iOS/Android), web applications, and APIs.

• Strong grasp of real-time systems dynamics, including latency, jitter, packet loss, and call drops.

• Proficient in using API testing tools such as Postman or REST-assured.

• Familiarity with UI automation tools like Selenium or Playwright is a plus.

• Knowledge of network simulation or performance testing tools is a significant advantage.

• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capable of thriving in fast-paced, distributed engineering environments.
