Senior QA Engineer, Field Delivery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Create and execute comprehensive test automation for web and mobile platforms (iOS and Android).

• Collaborate with engineers to develop and sustain backend test suites utilizing realistic test data.

• Formulate strategies for unit and component test coverage across both frontend and mobile applications.

• Assist in the advancement of the test automation framework, ensuring it is reliable, swift, and maintainable.

• Incorporate test suites into CI/CD pipelines, accommodating mobile simulators and emulator environments.

• Monitor and uphold code coverage standards for both backend and frontend systems.

• Ensure that load and performance testing are conducted to validate the behavior of backend systems.

• Establish and document testing strategies for new features.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years in software quality engineering with a strong emphasis on test automation.

• Demonstrated experience in creating end-to-end test automation for web applications.

• Experience in mobile test automation for both iOS and Android platforms.

• Proficient in Python, with experience in writing and maintaining backend test suites.

• Background in testing REST APIs within production backend systems.

• Familiarity with React and React Native sufficient for writing reliable component and integration tests.

• Strong grasp of CI/CD systems and the integration of automated test suites into pipelines.
