This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

• Take charge of the QA strategy from start to finish: from assessing risk to executing automation.

• Create and implement a scalable QA process designed specifically for agile, small teams.

• Establish the quality standards necessary for safe production releases, even at an increased pace.

• Maximize automation, including integration, end-to-end, and regression testing across our Django and NextJS technology stack.

• Leverage AI in QA — whether for test case generation, diffing, log analysis, or exploring innovative solutions we haven't yet considered.

• Work collaboratively with product engineers and prototypers to find the right balance between speed and safety.

• Proven experience in establishing QA functions or frameworks within early-stage teams, ideally at a senior or lead level.

• Proficient in AI-assisted development and testing methods; this role is centered on being AI-native, not merely AI-aware.

• Skilled in prioritizing testing effectively, weighing risk against velocity.

• Familiarity with QA tools and frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Pytest, Cypress).

• Comfortable navigating a full-stack environment (backend APIs, front-end UIs, async jobs).

• Practical experience with CI/CD tools (we utilize GitHub Actions).

• Excellent communication skills with a strong ability to collaborate with engineers and product leaders.

• Nice to Have: Experience in testing AI-based or machine learning-driven products.
