This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
• Develop and sustain automated testing for cloud-native services, including API/contract tests and end-to-end workflow assessments.
• Incorporate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, performance, and system-level testing activities.
• Assess non-functional requirements such as performance, resiliency/failure modes, and observability-driven debugging (logs/metrics/traces).
• Carry out exploratory and scenario-based testing that emphasizes real-world workflows.
• Evaluate usability, consistency of workflows, and the overall user experience.
• Assist in evolving scenario-based regression suites for AI-integrated workflows, including multi-step tasks, tool calls, and retrieval-backed behaviors.
• Curate and manage “golden” datasets, which encompass test cases, expected behaviors, and labels/metadata.
• Leverage AI-assisted delivery by utilizing AI coding agents to expedite the development of tests and automation.
• Publish testing results to dashboards and set up alerts for failures and regressions.
• Engage in code reviews and offer constructive feedback to colleagues.
• Be an active participant in the team’s development process, including daily scrums, planning, and code reviews, while advocating for quality and user experience within the team.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in software and machine learning development. Adapt effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Over 5 years of professional experience in software development specifically in the role of a QA Engineer.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• Prior experience in designing testing automation for the delivery of modern web or cloud applications.
• Established verification practices: including test design, CI hygiene, disciplined incremental delivery, and robust debugging abilities.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C#, and/or TypeScript/Java.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks.
• Experience with Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, DevOps, etc.
