Senior QA Engineer – Automation, Fullstack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Assist product teams in defining and enhancing testing strategies (unit / integration / E2E).

• Evaluate test scenarios, automated tests, and quality-related technical decisions.

• Investigate defects, flaky tests, and testing outcomes.

• Drive enhancements based on quality metrics and recurring challenges.

• Support teams in developing reliable and scalable test automation.

• Contribute to test frameworks and shared tools (helpers, utilities).

• Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and QA professionals.

• Educate and mentor teams on testing practices and automation strategies.

• Ensure that test automation does not adversely affect CI performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in testing web client-server applications.

• More than 3 years of experience in test automation.

• Practical experience in writing automated tests (E2E / integration).

• Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript.

• Familiarity with frontend architecture (React).

• Understanding of backend architecture (Node.js / NestJS).

• Experience in developing or maintaining test frameworks.

• Strong knowledge of testing levels (unit / integration / E2E).

• Experience in writing test scenarios or defining test strategies.

• Experience in reviewing automated tests (code review).

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins or similar).

• Proficiency in Docker (images, networks, volumes, docker-compose).

• Ability to influence quality through processes, not just code.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Ownership mindset with a willingness to take responsibility for quality decisions.
