Senior QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Develop comprehensive and well-organized test plans and cases that align with product requirements and acceptance criteria.

• Explore the application beyond predefined test cases to uncover edge cases, usability challenges, and any unforeseen behaviors.

• Precisely document issues, providing clear reproduction steps, a comparison of expected versus actual results, and pertinent evidence such as screenshots and logs.

• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to clarify requirements and discuss quality-related concerns.

• Conduct re-testing of resolved defects to ensure that they have been fully addressed and do not introduce new issues.

• Create, maintain, and refine automated test scripts that adhere to product requirements and acceptance criteria.

• Design scalable, reusable, and maintainable test automation frameworks that facilitate functional, regression, and performance testing.

• Partner with DevOps and development teams to integrate automated tests into continuous integration and delivery pipelines.

• Execute automated test suites to confirm that each feature operates as expected and meets established quality standards.

• Analyze test failures, determine root causes, and collaborate with development teams to rectify defects.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).

• Over 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, encompassing both manual and automated testing.

• More than 3 years of experience with JavaScript, Typescript, and NodeJS.

• At least 3 years of experience in the design and implementation of test automation (for example, using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools).

• A minimum of 3 years in the design and implementation of native mobile test automation (for instance, Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, Detox, AWS Device Farm, BrowserStack App Automate, Firebase Test Lab, Sauce Labs, Kobiton, Robot Framework, BitBar, LambdaTest Mobile, HeadSpin, Fastlane, Tricentis Testim, or equivalent platforms).

• Excellent collaboration skills to synchronize testing efforts with Development, DevOps, and Product Management teams.

• Proficiency in QA and defect tracking tools (such as TestPad, Qase, TestRail, Jira, Asana, Confluence).

• Must possess fluency in English.
