Senior QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and implement testing strategies to guarantee the quality of systems developed using Java.

• Execute functional, integration, and regression testing to ensure that solutions fulfill both technical and business requirements.

• Work collaboratively with development teams to proactively detect and address quality issues.

• Generate and update technical documentation pertaining to testing processes and outcomes.

• Engage in planning meetings and retrospectives, providing valuable insights on software quality.

• Track and report quality metrics, suggesting ongoing enhancements to development and testing processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Certifications in software testing, such as ISTQB.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.

• Experience in continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) environments.

• Proficient in test and bug management tools.

• Possess logical reasoning, dedication, organization, teamwork, proactivity, dynamism, flexibility, initiative, and accountability.

• Strong understanding of Java with practical experience in agile development settings.

• Demonstrated expertise in test automation and testing tools.

• Capable of analyzing requirements and formulating test cases.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and exhibit excellent interpersonal communication skills.
