This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +22 more states.
• Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-organized test plans and test cases.
• Review tickets (including bugs, enhancements, and new features) and other technical documentation to engage in every phase of the software development lifecycle.
• Create, execute, repair, and conduct both manual and automated tests utilizing frameworks such as Playwright.
• Plan and establish automated testing frameworks that align with development workflows, determining which tests to automate (like regression tests, API endpoints, critical user flows) and the timing for running these tests.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, coordinate, and carry out quality testing activities.
• Work closely with cross-functional scrum teams and collaborate across the broader organization.
• Uphold best practices in all aspects of your work, including ensuring substantial test coverage and striving for maintainability.
• Mentor junior QA team members and champion quality standards.
• Design and implement test data strategies, which include generating hundreds of thousands of Salesforce records for performance testing, managing data versions, and ensuring clean testing environments.
• Create and execute performance testing strategies to pinpoint system bottlenecks, load limits, and optimization opportunities using suitable testing tools.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (such as GitHub Actions, Cumulus CI, MetaDeploy) to deliver swift feedback on code alterations and serve as deployment gates.
• Over 5 years of software testing experience with proven expertise in test automation.
• More than 3 years of testing experience on the Salesforce platform with a thorough understanding of platform constraints.
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks, especially Playwright.
• Proficient in programming languages relevant for test automation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and processes (preferably GitHub Actions, Cumulus CI, MetaDeploy).
• Experience in performance testing with applicable tools.
• Experience in testing mobile applications using emulators, simulators, or cloud device farms with automation frameworks.
• Experience managing test data lifecycles and ensuring test environments are in sync with code deployments through version control systems.
• Excellent English communication skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate across departments, time zones, and remote teams.
• Self-motivated and adaptable: keeps up-to-date with testing methodologies, maintains composure under pressure, and excels in fast-paced remote settings.
