Senior QA Engineer – AI Native and Agentic Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

• **What You Will Own (End-to-End)**

• **1. Autonomous, AI-Driven QA**

Design AI-enhanced systems that:

• Investigate UI, APIs, workflows, and edge cases without relying on pre-written scripts

• Dynamically generate and run tests based on product behavior

• Identify bugs through exploration rather than solely through assertions

• Transition from static automation to self-guided testing systems

• **2. Agentic QA × Agentic Development Integration**

Develop QA agents that:

• Continuously assess features as development agents create them

• Deliver structured, actionable feedback in real time

• Collaborate with development agents until quality benchmarks are achieved

• Manage the QA feedback loop as a primary system, rather than a manual task

• **3. Full-Stack Quality Coverage**

Ensure quality validation across:

• Web UI

• Backend services

• APIs

• Data integrity

• Comprehensive user journeys

• Confirm that the system operates as a unified product, not merely isolated elements

• **4. Intelligent Defect Discovery & Verification**

Automatically detect:

• Functional defects

• Workflow interruptions

• Regression problems

• Performance and reliability threats

• Ensure that issues are:

• Reproducible

• Verified

• Clearly understandable by humans

• **5. Continuous, Always-On QA**

QA goes beyond “test execution”

Establish systems that:

• Operate continuously

• Evolve as the product changes

• Automatically enhance coverage over time

• **6. Quality Ownership**

Establish what constitutes “release-ready”

• Halt releases when quality does not meet standards — with supporting evidence

• Highlight risks early, clearly, and assertively

• 3+ years in QA (both manual and automation) — **a solid foundation is essential**

• Failure modes in intricate SaaS systems

• **Hands-on experience with:**

• UI automation (Playwright / Cypress / Selenium)

• API testing, with demonstrated use of AI in QA beyond basic test creation

• Autonomous testing

• AI-assisted exploratory testing

• Intelligent test orchestration

• Ability to articulate how AI systems determine what to test next

• **Strongly Preferred:**

• Experience in designing QA frameworks or platforms

• Experience in integrating QA into CI/CD at a systemic level

• Performance / reliability testing

• Experience in healthcare or regulated systems

• Previous roles where QA influenced architectural decisions
