Senior QA Consultant – SAP, Zuora, Finance Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee comprehensive QA activities throughout intricate Back Office systems, workflows, integrations, and enterprise business processes.

• Create and implement effective testing strategies, plans, and validation methodologies that align with business and technical goals.

• Ensure readiness for releases, maintain stability in production, and deliver high-quality outcomes across various initiatives.

• Balance competing demands between business-as-usual support and project deliverables while upholding QA standards.

• Utilize risk-based testing approaches to effectively prioritize testing efforts.

• Proactively identify quality risks, dependencies, gaps, and concerns regarding releases, providing actionable mitigation strategies.

• Take charge during critical delivery challenges such as ambiguous requirements, testing obstacles, integration problems, or release instability.

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to ensure alignment on quality expectations and release readiness.

• Serve as a trusted QA advisor, clearly communicating risks, progress, and recommendations.

• Influence decision-making through expertise, data-driven insights, and effective communication.

• Exhibit strong leadership as an individual contributor by demonstrating accountability, professionalism, and ownership.

• Mentor and assist QA engineers through coaching, reviews, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.

• Spearhead the adoption of AI-driven QA solutions and intelligent automation within testing processes.

• Advocate for automation-first and AI-assisted testing strategies to enhance efficiency, scalability, and coverage.

• Contribute to the refinement of QA frameworks, standards, tools, and delivery practices.

• Work with engineering and technology teams to incorporate automation and AI capabilities into CI/CD pipelines and QA workflows.

• Assess emerging technologies, automation platforms, and AI-centric testing tools to elevate quality engineering practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of extensive experience in Quality Assurance.

• Strong working knowledge of risk-based testing methodologies.

• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, capable of influencing stakeholders at various levels.

• Practical experience in QA automation and implementing independent testing strategies.

• Familiarity with contemporary QA tools, defect tracking systems, and test management platforms.

• Understanding of Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.

• Desirable experience with AI-assisted QA tools, intelligent automation, or machine learning-enabled testing solutions.

• Proven background in supporting finance systems, including SAP, Zuora, and OneSource applications.

• Expertise in designing and implementing test automation solutions using Worksoft.

• A solid foundation for mentoring or guiding QA team members in technical delivery and best practices.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to QA engineers through coaching and knowledge sharing.

• Cultivate a culture of quality-first thinking, continuous learning, and operational excellence.
