Senior QA Automation Engineer, Network Simulation Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Simulate and assess full-scale network architectures utilizing various network operating systems through WebUI, back-end, CLI, and shell.

• Ensure that simulation configurations and features correspond with actual physical configurations.

• Examine architectural designs and specifications for new product functionalities.

• Create and execute end-to-end tests for new features, encompassing software general availability and maintenance updates.

• Document and report bugs, aid in the reproduction and troubleshooting of issues, validate R&D bug resolutions, and escalate unresolved matters.

• Conduct a variety of system tests, including regression, performance, functional, and security tests.

• Develop, implement, and sustain automated tests and framework APIs using Python.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

• Over 5 years of practical experience in Quality Assurance and/or Networking.

• Strong foundational knowledge of networking and hands-on experience with switching and routing.

• Proficient in automation and scripting with Python and Linux Bash.

• Expertise in Python object-oriented programming and experience in developing automation for WebUI, SDK, and API using pytest and Playwright.

• Capable of managing multiple responsibilities, prioritizing tasks efficiently, and executing duties independently.

• Committed, able to work autonomously, and take responsibility for assigned tasks.

• Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
