Senior QA Automation Engineer – AWS, Salesforce

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Design and implement an automated testing framework that encompasses both our AWS-hosted web application and the associated Salesforce native workflows.

• Automate comprehensive user journeys that span multiple platforms (for instance, actions initiated in our cloud web UI that trigger deployments or metadata backups in Salesforce).

• Create resilient UI tests for Salesforce Lightning that withstand dynamic ID changes and efficiently manage Shadow DOM components (utilizing UTAM, Playwright, or other enterprise testing tools).

• Develop comprehensive API automation suites to verify real-time data integrations, webhooks, and secure queues operating between AWS and Salesforce.

• Seamlessly integrate the automated test suites into modern Git-based CI/CD pipelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in QA Automation Engineering, particularly with complex enterprise integrations.

• Extensive Salesforce Knowledge: Profound understanding of Salesforce Lightning architecture, metadata, security models, and developer workflows.

• Technical Proficiency: Skilled in code-first automation (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium) OR possess deep expertise in Salesforce-specific automated testing frameworks (Provar, ACCELQ, or UTAM).

• API & Database Testing Skills: Proficient in REST API testing and possess a strong command of SOQL queries for direct verification of the Salesforce database.

• DevOps Approach: Solid experience in establishing automated test steps within CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab, or cloud developer tools).
